A lot of really talented artists are coming together next week for an event that has been put together to raise money for the legal defense fund for Donovan Drayton, the son of world-renowned guitarist Ronny Drayton (pictured above at BoldasLIVE). Donovan is currently under indictment for six felony charges. I don’t know all of the details beyond what’s on the family’s site, and I still need to reach out to Ronny to get details. However, I do know that a bunch of artists, simply on the strength of their love of Ronny and his family, are coming together for this event. Artists scheduled to appear:
- Nona Hendryx w/ Felicia Collins (The CBS Orchestra/David Letterman)
- The Family Stand (The WHOLE group: Peter Lord, V . Jeffrey Smith AND Sandra St. Victor!)
- Burnt Sugar w/DJ Logic
- Sophia Ramos
- The BRC Orchestra
