I've posted about Melvin and his work with Harriet Tubman, and shared with you the excitement that many of us feel around his latest project, Ancients Speak here and here.  Cool thing is, now you get to see it live and in the flesh.  And believe me, there's no down side: Melvin and Elevated Entity are opening for Fela's son, Femi Kuti, who has become a force in his own right.  Vernon Reid handles guitar duties and Amayo of Antibalas is on vocals.

So, three more words about this show: Get there early.
