Aku of Dragons of Zynth
The combination of PS 1 and some Black rock make a trip to Long Island City worth it. The BRC along with King Britt’s Five Six Media will present a hot lineup of Black rock during PS 1’s “Warm Up” Series. In case you’re not aware, PS 1 is an affiliate of MoMA and is a recognized player in the alternative art space movement.
Saturday’s lineup is:
Chuck Treece’s McRad (3PM-3:45PM)
Apollo Heights (5PM-5:45PM )
Dragons of Zynth (7:PM-7:45PM)
DJ CX Kidtronik spins for at least an hour between sets. If he’s only half as good as he was at 2007’s Afropunk closing night at Brooklyn Museum, it’ll still be off the hook.
