Video: Janelle Monae's "Many Moons"

 

Glad I took a detour over to The Couch Sessions today, or I’m not sure when I would’ve discovered Janelle’s video.  Like Stone, I was concerned about her move to Bad Boy.  Like him, also, I’m really pleased with this video.  It says that they get her uniqueness and are willing to let her be herself.  They also get the concept behind her project and have fashioned and supported a video that’s aligned with her aesthetic.  Bravo, Bad Boy.
