I have raved about Janelle on this blog before, so there's not much to say other than restate that this is what an "alternative" artist should strive for. Here's where the bar is: A talented artist has a concept. The concept is developed, fleshed out, so that he or she is able to stake out a clear position in the marketplace. As a result–and in this example in particular–you will not confuse Janelle with anyone else. She should be the winner in this category.
