Have to admit: I’ve been checking for No Surrender since they put out “Godda Get It” last year in advance of their album. Some of you also heard it on last summer’s Boldaslove.us mixtape.
Now, I know they’re released “Silver Hall” as the focus track, and I understand why: If I had TV On The Radio‘s Tunde Adebimpe singing on one of my tracks, I’d be releasing it, too. But, seriously, people, this track–this track right here!–is a STRAIGHT BANGER! What I love about it is, first, it just sounds EPIC. I’m walking down the street with this blastin’ in my headphones and I’m like, “Yeah. A stadium rocker.” And then it ends with the group’s rapid-fire lyrical flow that stutters in and around the beats. This avant-rap joint has been on repeat since Monday.
