For those of you wondering how we do these promotions, it goes a little something like this:
- You enter.
- After the cutoff time, we see how many entries there are. We make sure there are no duplicate entries.
- We head over to Random.org and generate a random number based on the number of entries. The number that’s generated corresponds to an entry on the Google Docs spreadsheet. That’s the winner. Unless it’s someone who writes for Bold As Love or somebody in my family. If that’s the case, then it’s like, Nah, playa. And we’re back to the random number generator again.
Pretty straightforward.
