Feb22-15-FB banner_851c

Just in time to celebrate the series’s second anniversary, we’re back!  And at a brand new location in Prospect Heights!  Yes, change is good.  Go ahead and mark your calendars, since we’ll be here on the 4th Sunday of every month (minus a few obvious vacay breaks; more on that later, tho).

We’re thrilled to kick off things with two authors with new books out in the world, and one whose book is slated for release next year:

LaSHONDA KATRICE BARNETT is the author of the novel Jam on the Vine and a story collection, and is the editor of two volumes on music and the creative process: I Got Thunder and Off the Record. Her short fiction has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Guernica Magazine, New Orleans Review, Juked, and elsewhere. She lives in New York City. For more information visit http://www.LaShondaBarnett.com/

DANIEL JOSÉ OLDER is the author of Half-Resurrection Blues (book one of the Bone Street Rumba series) and Shadowshaper. His first collection of short stories, Salsa Nocturna and the anthology Long Hidden: Speculative Fiction from the Margins of History, which he co-edited, are available from Crossed Genres. You can find Daniel at http://ghoststar.net/

TIFFANY D. JACKSON is a TV professional by day, novelist by night, awkward black girl 24/7. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Film from Howard University and her Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School University. A Brooklyn native, she is a lover of naps, cookie dough, and beaches, currently residing in Crown Heights with her adorable chihuahua, Oscar, working on her next novel. Her debut novel, Allegedly is due Winter 2016 by KT Books, an imprint of Harper Collins. More info: http://about.me/TiffanyDJackson
