Join hardcore warrior soul goddess Tamar-Kali as she headlines her first Central Park Summerstage performance on Wednesday, August 10. It’ll be a special night as Tamar and her band 5 Piece will also share excerpts from the collaborative work in progress Demon Fruit Blues featuring the dance genius of Adia Whitaker’s Áse Dance Theater Collective and the visual artistry of Brooklyn based painter Sarah Olson.
The show is FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors are at 7pm, and the show’s at 8pm. More info here.
Tamar-kali will also reprise the performance on Thursday, August 18 at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem.
