This will probably be a great, intimate performance by Cindy and her group and well worth seeing. Yeah, she’s married to guitar legend Carlos Santana. And, yeah, she held down Lenny Kravitz’s rhythm section for years. But in her own right, Cindy is dope. Every time she play is a masters class in drumming. Believe it. Also worth seeing is her as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Miles’s Bitches Brew a few years ago in Prospect Park.
